Maybelline the happy brown and white baby goat with flower in her ear

I’m Glad You Are Here!

Meet Maybelline!

Maybelline is a funny, sweet, and sometimes naughty little goat, who has good days, bad days, and numerous other situational event days that you can discover throughout this series of books.

The first book of the Maybelline series starts with “Maybelline Has A Very. Bad. Day.” Our playful young goat, Maybelline, is having a yucky day. When her girl can’t come brush her, it starts off a chain of events with Maybelline falling into bad situations all day long. Your little pre-reader will be sure to empathize with Maybelline and see themself in the antics of her “bad day”.

Heartwarming illustrations clearly demonstrate how Maybelline is feeling. The farm setting is delightful, and sure to engage small listeners. This story provides a great tool for a discussion about what makes a “bad” day, and how bad days do come to an end.

Questions to promote dialogue are featured at the end of the book!
